Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

Free tax preparation services for low-income individuals and families.

We're here to help

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is an IRS initiative designed to support free tax preparation service for the underserved through various partner organizations. The Oregon State University College of Business is one of those partners, and every February and March, IRS certified accounting student volunteers, university volunteers, and community volunteers provide free tax preparation services to individuals and families who qualify.

If you have questions, please contact us via email at vita.cob@oregonstate.edu.

We are no longer taking appointments for the current 2022 tax year. We are closed and are no longer providing tax services. We will reopen next January, 2024. Please return next year.
